About Lepelblad
Marian and Cathy started restaurant "Lepelblad" in 2002. After deciding to start hotel "Lepelbed" in Melle, they passed the torch to Tina and Saskia in 2009.
Lepelblad is the Dutch word for a herb (also known as Common Scurvygrass) and a part of a spoon. The name hints, on the one hand, at the many pasta dishes and stews the restaurant serves and on the other hand, at the fresh herbs and spices which are an essentiel part of all of the dishes.
From soups to desserts, all the dishes at Lepelblad are homemade. Every day the restaurant offers several daily specials. All of our dishes are creative, fresh, seasonal, healthy, original and no-nonsense. Our restaurant has a cosy, clean and homely atmosphere, and the half-open kitchen gives it a special touch.
Our terrace allows you to watch the city go by while enjoying a glass of wine, one of our delicious dishes or a coffee...
